Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChangeAnyWhere desktop application (the "App") and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by ChangeAnyWhere ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing a subscription, activating a license key, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ChangeAnyWhere is a macOS desktop application that simulates the GPS location reported by an iPhone connected to your Mac via USB, using Apple's developer tooling. The App is provided as a downloadable application activated with a license key tied to a paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a subscription. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and License Keys

• The subscription is offered on a monthly plan at USD $9.90 per month. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
• Payments will be processed by the payment partner identified on the hosted checkout. The checkout and receipt will disclose the partner's legal name and whether it acts as Merchant of Record or payment processor. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
• Before payment, checkout will display the total including applicable tax, the renewal amount and frequency, the activation limit, and the available cancellation path.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the provider portal or by contacting support; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• After purchase, the App download and a license key are delivered to your purchase email. The activation limit displayed before payment applies. Where supported, you may deactivate an old Mac in the App or provider portal to free an activation slot.
• License keys follow the subscription lifecycle: cancellation, refund, or chargeback deactivates the associated key.
• We may change subscription prices for future billing cycles. Price changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and renewals at a changed price take effect only after reasonable advance notice.

4. License Grant

Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices activated with your license key. You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or share your license key, or otherwise make the App available to third parties.

5. Acceptable Use

The App is intended for lawful software development, QA, and location-based testing on devices you own or are authorized to test. You agree that you will not use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• commit fraud, misrepresent your location to obtain money, services, or benefits you are not entitled to, or evade law-enforcement, court-ordered, or safety-related location requirements;
• violate the terms of service of third-party apps, games, or platforms (many apps prohibit location simulation — you are solely responsible for checking and complying with their terms, and for any consequences such as account suspension);
• harass, stalk, deceive, or harm any person;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where permitted by law;
• circumvent license activation, device limits, or other technical restrictions of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your license if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.

6. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for your own hardware, including your Mac and iPhone, and for meeting the system requirements published on this website.
• Enabling Developer Mode and simulating location on your device is your choice and at your own risk.
• The App intentionally keeps the simulated location active after a normal quit. To restore the device's real location, explicitly clear the simulation, switch devices, or deactivate the license. Disconnecting or unplugging the device may also leave the simulated location active until you reconnect and clear it.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties, including the payment and licensing provider disclosed at checkout, Apple's developer tooling for device communication, and third-party map services. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, this website, and all related content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

9. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, modify features, or discontinue parts of the Service. The App requires periodic online license validation; after a successful validation it can operate offline for a limited period (currently up to 72 hours) before revalidation is required. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service or compatibility with every future macOS or iOS version.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT IT WILL WORK WITH EVERY DEVICE OR OS VERSION, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY APPS WILL ACCEPT SIMULATED LOCATIONS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY SUSPENSION OF THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNTS RESULTING FROM LOCATION SIMULATION. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW OR AFFECTS YOUR NON-WAIVABLE STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription through the provider portal or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 8, 10, 11, and 13) survive termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this website or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
